Its been raining cats and dogs here.... So, no work.. but eating myself into oblivion.. Ive made meatloaf stuffed with spinach and motzarella cheese, grandmas corn bread, and pots de creme ( chocolate )

I had a little minor surgery this past Monday. First doctor said I had to go into the hospital. Second doctor who was rational and calm, said that if I had the guts... she could do it in the office. I had the guts. I hate hospitals.

Ive been watching too much boob tube. I made a beautiful slip cover for a couch that I bartered for. Love the couch, but the material was too dark.

The heat has broken here so Ive been able to shut off the AC. I love it when the windows are opened. My sons are good. A friend came to visit last weekend from Virginia beach. Next weekend is a huge wine festival. Biggest event of the season in our little town. In October Im going to take the Starlight Express Bus up to New York. It leaves Charlottesville at 6am, arrives in China Town at noon. Fancy seats, food and music. 160.00 round trip. My best friend and I are planning a trip to Costa Rica over Christmas....

and that is about it. Pretty boring huh?????
