This is a very sad day. I feel terrible about the judge and court report . Today. we should say a silence prayer for them. The eputy who's gun he took is still alive. But her condition is critical. Just repoted on CNN.
Also were can we be safe. I told my husband I wanted a stun gun. I like those things. Poor Nancy grace she was in tears. I guess from what she said she knew the judge and some people in the court room. I know I am going to be weary of court rooms when I go in there.

in an Atlanta courtroom today a man on trial for rape grabbed a deputy's gun, shot and killed the judge, the court clerk and a deputy. i'll try to find you some info Babyrider. what i do NOT comprehend is how he got the deputy's gun. we do much training in weapon retention to prevent just that scenario, and also our guns are strapped and snapped into our holsters at two places. the female deputy in the hospital is expected to survive. the bad guy has not been captured yet.

Alot of people on some member boards not this one, are now making this issue one of race. well it shouldn't be. This man could have been white or asian, or red.
Let's hope this does not become a white against blacks thing all over again.
some people on the othere boads are saying that a women shouldn't have escorted this man and making this about the female and male gender. As big as he was he could have over powered a man. my husband weighs much less then I do. My piont is even man could be over powered by this phsyco. This is a human issue.
I hope we catch this man as soon as possible, but it doesn't look like it's going to be tonight , I am sorry to say. Maybe it will be later. This is also about a failed secruity system in a courthouse. How can a man with a gun so easly flee the seen.
I know the court houses here in my state have extreme secruity. They usaully have 3 or 4 deputy's at the ddor alone. I have seen two in the court room, myself. Once they even yelled at someone chewing gum. I think that's a little stupid but. that's how it works.
Stay same you guys in Alanta :-4

Yes he wasn't handcuffed because they thought it my taint the juries view of him if he was shackled.. :-5 so he somehow got the guards gun away from him.
Just a shame.
