New Era/mutual fund Surprizes

While reading the prospectus after I put money in ofcourse:)

Did other research prior:)

Anyway I was surprized that 2.9% or was it 3.9% of New Era is in REITS.

Anyone else have a mutual fund surprize?

I was also surprized to see New Era in the 70 funds consumer reports recommended. Just figured they would be more conservitive then to recommend a sector fund.

I like the small percentage in REITS though. It's a good compromise.

I don't mind the REITS. Actually makes me think that perhpas reits have more of a way to go. However, with intrest rates going up . . . . Yet the fundementals on REITS are improving.

One of the best things about my 401K and 457b is that they let me have fine American Funds minus the load.

American Funds EuroP 11.25% 401K or 457? Have it in both

Artisan Mid Cap Inv 10.79%

American Funds EuroP 10.74%

Dodge & Cox Stock 9.8%

T. Rowe Price Real E 9.75%

T. Rowe Price Global 9.75%

Fidelity Contrafund 9.70%

T. Rowe Price Intern 9.49%

T. Rowe Price New Er 3.01% but the largest of new money going but may soon be in the same delema as with the REITS that went up 30%+ in back to back years.

So what mutual funds are you all holding?

Also have small positions in American Century Equity Income and Constelation Clover which performs but tends to hold companies that I don't like. New money into my 457b is going into these. New money into ROTH IRA goes into New ERA.
