Soaring Gas Prices or a Gas Shortage?

Well here we go, the richest freakin province in the nation and we face, of all things... a gas shortage.
Yes one of our largest refineries is shut down because it is broken. Yes it will get fixed but it will take time.
Yesterday after work I waited 40 minutes in line at the gas station to fuel up. In a 2 km span around this gas station 2 PetroCanada stations were shut down because no gas was coming to them, they had run out.
It is really quite amazing the extent to which we depend upon Crude Oil.
