Guys seemed to be criticized a lot for spitting, particularly while playing sports. I do it when I am playing a sport that makes me sweat. My mouth gets cottony and saliva builds up and I have to spit. Guys understand this I believe. Women on the other hand don't seem to ever spit, except when they are nasty little girls.:wah:

Oh boy girls here spit. My oldest is always doing it. It looks disgusting to me. But she pretty much explained she spits for the same reason you do. Hmmmmm I guess it seems natural.

when i had 3 and 4 year olds in day care. i would catch my boys doing the spitten thing:sneaky:. "You want to spit?" i would make them stand over the potty and SPIT until they were spitted out!! When you are sick that is one thing but just because. IS grouse!!:(:mad:

No I don't unless I'm playing with the dogs and I get fur in my mouth or something like that.

I take it as a sign of no class when I see a guy spit on the street or the sidewalk. I subconsciously rate him as ill mannered and crude.

Not unless I had something that really needed to come up. When I see men spit, it just turns my stomach

Spitting is gross I don't care when or why you do it. I actually think it's right up there with littering. Who are you, or anyone for that matter what gives you right to spit in public anywhere you want NOT ACCEPTABLE and disgusting.

I must admit, I think it's gross too. I usually get some bemused looks when I respond to seeing people gobbing with 'UGH! If I step in that, you can do a proper job and clean my shoe with your face'.
