I like "Nautica" clothing when I can get it on sale. The items seem to wear better than anything comparable and last forever.

I can't say I really have a favorite. If hardpressed I'd say Levi's 501 shrink to fit are my favorite jeans and Adobe Rose makes pretty western-styled blouses with lots of lace and I like those. My nightshirts and pajamas come from Woman Within.

Mostly though I just don't really care. I know I'm more often paying for some bigwig's name than I am for quality and I don't care for that. I just buy what I like and what makes me feel nice when I wear it.

I hunt for and buy USA made clothing. Diamond gusset jeans. Any USA made T-shirts. USA fleece clothing for cold weather. In my circles, that stuff fits in ok.:D

Im attempting to develop a new look for myself. Im tall and its never been easy for me finding clothes I like and clothes that fit well.

Kohls dept store has helped with that. They have some knockout clothes and really good prices.

I just picked up a shirts for $55.00. Not bad.

Chap, Croft & Barrow & A[X]IST (Batik Bay makes nice summer shirts)

I dont know if those are good names but I sure do like them.

I like Armani jeans. Other than that, I don't really do Designer. Of the mid range Aussie sportswear labels - Country Road and Rivers are good even for the girls, and Fletcher Jones for good woolen knitwear and tailored-look work suits.

I nearly did add that, Pants. Nothing like good sunnies - mine are Prada.. I've never had a designer handbag, but one of my girlfriends brought back a Louis Vuitton bag from an overseas trip - and it's very cool.

A few years ago i bought a couple of fake designer bags back from Turkey they were only about a tenner each hence they didn't last long ..moral of the story , if you buy cheap it doesn't last long . If you want quality don't skimp thats why i'd rather pay good money for sunglasses and shoes .

I think I was trying to make a personal statement to myself, Pants, when I first went after a couple of disigner items. Sort of like - 'I can'. My son, at about thirteen, needed to do something similar. After that, you get over it, and buy things that you consider good value, or that you just simply fall for, in my case mostly because of their outrageous colour. With the jeans though, I've found that the cut and the fabric and just the putting-together are worth the money. So it's a value thing, not just show.

Wal Mart :D

I've never really been into the designer thing, if I like something and it's comfy that's all that matters. :-6
