Need your opinion please..

My niece emailed me a recipe for Alfredo sauce that she swears is great. I thought about making chicken Alfredo tonight. However I have some baby spinach that I need to use up. So I was thinking about wilting some of the spinach down in the sauce. I love creamed spinach.
Bad Idea or Good?

Figured I'd better tell how it was.
It was good, but I think i got to much parmeson cheese in the sauce, was little salty. It was the first time for me to make alfredo sauce though.

I prefer cooked chicken and green peas for color - just my opinion.
