we have a programm here in the uk about Heir Hunters. If someone dies without leaving a will and there are no known heirs,the money goes to the government, to the tune of 25 million a year according to this programme:-3 these heir hunters go about finding lost relatives to help give the deceased estate to their rightful heirs, before the government claim it. Of course they charge for this service, but i think hey that person would never have known they could claim that money ( some of them quite large amounts) if this firm didnt do it. I wonder what the government does with that money:sneaky:

Dont be silly! It pays it to illegal immigrants in the form of free housing, free medical treatment and welfare benefits! :wah:

I agree Kaz, same thing here.....why does the government get the inheritance. That's why I made my will a long time ago.....wanna leave my millions to the family....:-4:wah::wah:

I've actually seen that show, Kaz, and I keep wondering when I shall be traced, because I just know there's a massive inheritance awaiting me somewhere :-6.
