With the trend toward casual dress at weddings, funerals and even the workplace where ties were the norm, how many ties due you own. Do you wear a tie? When and where? Also----------how much would you pay for a decent tie?

My husband must have fifty of them, he used to wear them to work everyday. Everything from quiet, sedate colors to funny ones.

One and I can't find it. I always hated them. I threatened to come back and haunt my kids if they bury me with a tie on.

I dunno.

I wear jeans and a t shirt when I ride my motorcycle so that should balance everything out.

Just kidding. I had an old uncle who was an engineer on a steam locomotive. Whenever he was off duty he dressed like he was going to a wedding. His nickname was "dude".

Once in awhile Ill see an older gentleman dressed to the hilt w/ cufflinks and a pocket handkerchief, brim hat the whole 9 yards.

I have a bunch of them. I used to wear them with my marry-um burry-um suit. Now I were them to board meetings and when I'm representing my employer at a meeting someplace. I'm thinking the reason people look at me funny now is because I need to buy some new ones... I hope that's why they look at me that way.

My husband hates ties & only wears them under sufference.:-6

i have a whole bunch of ties... from black to some with homer simpson on them ...

however i haven't worn one for yonks ... not to the office not to a wedding or a funeral ... not even when i need to see my bank manager ...

i cannot imagine a time i would wanna wear one ...

oh maybe to a fancy dress ...
