Old people who think the world owes them just because they are old.

Customers who don't tip for great service.

Mean drunks. If you know whiskey makes you mean, stay the hell away from it. ( do LOL)

2 people stopped with their carts, side by side just yapping away, then when you say "excuse me" they give you a dirty look. People do this in their cars too...drive side by side going 10mph under the speed limit.

Trying to check out and there is 15 people in line with only 1 checker working...and it's always one of those small belts in the express isle so you can hardly put anything on it. Then the people with 20 items or less look at you as if you're breaking the rules!

I love to turn up the volume on my truck radio, but what is annoying is the cars that have so much base that the road vibrates.

Shopping with hubby...he looks at everything! I hate shopping so I'm a get in get out type person. If he thinks I need new clothes, he drags me to the store, sticks me in a dressing room and brings me tons of stuff to try on. Then I start whining that I don't want to try on anymore clothes and want to leave.

doing dishes and no one putting them away.

sorting, washing then separating and folding clothes and no one takes their clothes off the table to put them away.

dirty socks and undies on the floor.

10" of dog hair on the floor and no one vacuums it.

People that speed to get past you then turns right away.

All the stores that carry dog outfits but none of them is large enough for my baby.

Someone in front of you that has one or two items missing the tags, so you have to wait for that dept to find the item then call back with the price.

After I buy something and the alarms go off when I leave, so I have to go back and let them look at the reciept to verify I paid for everything.

People that leave their shopping carts in the handicaped stalls even when there is a cart return just a couple cars down.

People that drive like idiots...talking on their phone(don't they realize that almost everyone has one these days so it's no longer "cool") or worse yet, texting.

Ok, I'll stop now. This list sounds more like the bi***ing shel peeves! :wah:

1. Toilet seat left up

2. Finding an empty toilet paper holder

3. People who park in the handicap spots (who are not handicapped)

4. Motor Vehicle Department (takes all day to get all the paperwork completed)

5. Doctor's Office: They call you in an exam room and make you wait FOREVER for the doctor to come in (isn't that what the waiting room is for)

6. People who keep interrupting me while I'm trying to talk

7. Telemarketers

8. People who chew their food with their mouth open

Sorry....I could just go on and on like the Energizer Bunny :wah:

I dunno, I think when you're old, you should expect a certain amount of entitlement. If nothing else................respect, if you have lived your life respecting and nurturing others. IMO

This is a literal "pet" peeve. I'm cross with the cat who keeps pooing on my front lawn. He doesn't just leave one deposit but several. I think it's the siamese next door but one.

And another...those people who don't pick up their dog's deposits from the pavement or road to put them in the special bins that the council provides.

I'm back too. TM you reminded me of how peeved I feel when people think it's okay to say, "You're looking thin." Which, to me, is as insulting as saying, "You're looking fat."

And, Grecian, don't get me started on off-roaders and 4 x 4s, with one person in them, which park next to you in the car park and make it impossible for you to drive out of your space without a guide.

1. Above all else, idiots.

2. ATROCIOUS English, written and otherwise, from native English-speakers. Doing peer reviews in my university English classes was, for me, enough to make me want to commit seppuku (ritual Japanese suicide).

3. Parents who don't give their children an upbringing (this includes the occasional spank, which is NOT child abuse).

4. sociologists/sociology

5 politicians

6. dogs

7. elitists

8. the county court system

9. people who abuse/neglect animals

Yikes, another one: family members who absolutely will not shut the heck up, grow a brain, stay out of everyone's business, and GTFO. I have an aunt who is like this and $#%@^& I can't even begin to explain how badly I want my dad to grow a backbone and throw her out.

Obviously, I hate that woman, so I can't really say if she's a pet peeve or the mother of all that is loathesome. Probably both.

Yesterday I took both my Min Pins for their booster shots. I had made the appointment (after they sent me a reminder card) last month. I called and confirmed the appointment the day before and was told they were expected. I arrrived to a waiting room FULL of other pets and when they asked my name, they told me I wasn't on the schedule for that day :-5 but if I wanted to wait a few hours they would see my dogs! Needless to say, I left and found another vet in the area that saw my dogs right away. My dogs both hate going to the vet and just trying to round them up to get in the truck is an exhausting experience! Boy, was I ever peeved :-5
