horrible isn't it.... and not likely an isolated incident.

I heard this week on our local news of a man who brutally attacked 2 women in our nearby provincial park this past weekend. One of the women got away and made it to the police to report the guy, meanwhile he raped and continued to beat the other.

Once this animal was caught and his history was looked into, it was realized he should have been locked up years ago for beating a man to within minutes of death. How does this happen how is it these judicial systems fail like these 2 incidents???

How true we are not safe.

A woman who reported a crime of rape against her, went unheeded today when a judge decided that it was worth $2500 against her attacker . Her husband.

Background that i"m trying to gather (without luck I might add) is of a woman who was drugged and raped by her husband over a period of time.

As it turns out (sorry i only have verbal ABC radio transcipt by memory )

The wife involved was drugged and raped by her husband . She didn't realise until the tell tale signs ( i don't need to explain this ) she went to her doctor for a toxicology test and he affirmed that she'd been drugged , she herself knew what had happened to her

Guess what ?

the prick arsehole scumbag pleaded guilty.

so you would think he'd at least get a jail term under so many different laws here

about the poisions act etc. ..........................nope

his sentence was a $2500 fine without conviction.

Now he could have got 25 years in prison, there is no differenting point of view who rapes you, the sentence is all the same . Except in this case so it seems.

so guys just pass over $2500 to your wife and what ever takes your fancy ? just do it . cause you just payed for the privilage!!!!!!!

Anyone got a wall to punch here?

here's the only link i could find FA!!!!

Fuzzy, in the UK, a rape by a partner is now treated as seriously as a rape by a total stranger, thank goodness.

As a guy I have to ask, if he had to drug his wife for sex, what in the hell was he doing there? What's wrong with a bottle of champaigne? Or 2? :sneaky:

control freak/abuser perhaps??

She was drugged against her will. She was raped by the man who was supposed to love and protect her. I hope she gets her own revenge.
