Why is it that all the shows on the Food Network have the chefs using salt on everything? They add it to everything. I mean doesn't food have enough of it's own natural salt or salt already added to it?

Because salt and pepper are the basic seasoning. I add salt to all my meals that I cook. I even put salt on my watermelon.

I also like to season my food during and after cooking...We use lo-salt for cooking but sea-salt over cooked food. I also love pepper or garlic salt or a multi season all

I don't put Salt or Pepper on any of my food as I also they have enough in them for the natural flavor of the food. But I like Sheryl put salt on my Watermelon on occasion Ymmm!! try it you will be suprised very good.

I must admit I add salt to my cooking as I dont add it once its on the plate......heard salt is good for other things also.....stains....furniture to name a couple

furniture??? what you an about woman? i have heard about putting salt on spilled red wine i think:wah:

I like salt,, but i do try not to add it so much now...i use lo salt too.. mostly:o
