I would have to say ??????????????????????????

Don't all speak up at once. Ok, everyone is suddenly shy.

I'm not going to name names because I don't want to embarrass the person but there is someone here who unbeknownst to him, prevented me from doing a really stupid thing a year or so ago. He knows now but that's neither here nor there. This person has some crazy ability to make me like myself better. I can't put a price on that. He's someone I can have actual conversations with, ones that mean something and he matches me word for word and I like it. That's practically never happened before. And when I'm in one of my blue moods, even if he doesn't (seemingly to me) know about it, he snaps me out of it. He seems to like the things about me that no one else can stand, my opinionatedness and my forthrightness being a couple of them. I can't say enough good about this person (although I'm happy to try) and seriously, he means the world to me. I'll never have another friend like him. :-4

well thank you for including me in your list Ducky, but i'm like you i couldn't name just one either,

Kathy Ellen- the first person to welcome me here, and always with support when i need it! :-4

Jj- being one of my first friends on here and always being ready with a kind word and a boost to my confidence when i need it! :-4

Kay- the first person to invite me to FOC and became one of my new big sisters:-4

Carol- welcomed me with open arms, became another Sister, and has been with me through many things sometimes staying up with me way into the night!:-4

and of course the rest of FOC!:-4

Ducky- my best American friend, i met you on FOC and you invited me to the pub where i met even more lovely people. and of course PinkChick, she's always had a kind word and been ready to listen any time i've needed it! :-4

Hope, I'm gonna have to hunt you down girl if you don't get your but back into the pub:wah:

Do you mean like in Forum Life?? For me in real life Raven made a huge difference to my life... bless that girl and I do miss her dearly... you know I love you girlfriend.

As for making my life different here on FG... good lord many people for many reasons...

Actually I'm going to come out and say it. The people who have made a difference would have to be: Idgie, Mustang, Hope, RedGlitter, Rj, Jimbo, Wisey, Kathy Ellen, Chris, Kaz, Gill, CArolly (watcha babe), Wonderwendy and I could go on.................:wah:

If I had to pick just one, I would have to say RedGlitter, she and I have a lot in common, but she also makes me see the other side of many debates, she is fair, she's pleasant and just an all round good friend. But there are several others who i admire here, but for fear of naming names, I'll just say I think you all have an idea who you are.

Being here at FG - difference was made by a young lady here and she lives in the same STATE as I do. Our friendship has grown & I always look forward to hear from her.

It was meant to be - my favorite color is RED.

And RED - I know the friend you mentioned.. very nice friendship all around..

Well I will choose Carol as she and I have known each other for years and she bought me to FG. We have been there for each other in good times and bad, but I would feel guilty if i didnt mention Gilly Willy who has been there for me when I have been down:-4 All the focers are great and I love them all:-4:-4:-4

Ok so I started typing and my list got obscene and I realised I was typing out all the names of people I like and feel like ive made a friend of which isnt what the thread was about. Im always worried about leaving someone out or offending someone so I decided to just say the FOC people are the best in the world and those people who frequent that thread are all awesome.:-6

I've been here a long time so my list would be long, very long. But there are those that are like family to me; I would do anything for them. I won't list them here because they might start asking for stuff.

thanks ducky for including me in your list, I really appreciate that....I will follow in with others that the list is WAY too long for me and I would NEVER want to leave anyone out, because wow, there are so many people at this forum that has made a difference in my life more than they will ever know...

Dubs - I love HIM--a sweet friend!!

Pinkchick - A sweet and genuine lady!:-4

Sheryl - keeps in touch and has been a GOOD friend to me

Fuzzy Butt - has helped me from having a nervous breakdown and has the ability to make me laugh until I cry!

Guppy- has listened to me for hours....awesome individual!

Jimbo - An encourager and a faithful friend!- Great sense of humor!

Pinky - been there when I needed her, and another one that makes me laugh!

Wisey - awesome human being that I just admire beyond words

JAB - a sweet friend that is there when I need her :-4

Minksy - my soul sista

Angel Eyes - a sweet friend

Chezzie-kins - Awesome person with a great sense of humor and always willing to help in any situation

Kinksy - Sweet, gentle and kind person that has helped me more than she realizes too!

Kathy Ellen - always has a kind word and puts a smile on my face!

Carla - always has a word of encoragement and kind thing to say

Patsy - cool and calm individual who I admire more than she realizes

Along for the Ride - sweet spirit and kind person

Weeder - her words of encouragement and her posts have meant so much to me!

Pheasy - tender heart and sweet person, has been there when I needed to vent more than one occassion!

Accountable - has helped and encouraged me when I really needed it!

Spot - for calling me Winnie the Pooh and putting a smile on my face!

Qsducks is a sweet person and I'm so glad she is here, wish I spent more time here nowadays to get to know her better!!:-4

Since the question is the one person I will answer by saying SlipStream. Even with a severe disability he does not complain. I find him to be the most courageous person I could have met here. He has taught me to take one day at a time and make the most of that day. He makes me smile and I cherish the time I can spend with my "Captain" Slip. :-4

if this has to be directted at one person of course i have to say my carolly.she has helped me through so much and puts up with so mmuch also.it upsets me to see the way she is treated at times but has told me to leave well alone although those of you that know me through her will realize this is so hard sometimes.i have also known kay for afew years now and admire what she does andhave too say i also admire the girls on the foc thread for always being there for each other and away from here for others also.well done to you all.also there are some good people here that i admire for their posts.

There are many FG members who have made a huge difference in my life. I don't want to single anyone out. Since being here I have made friends with some of the lovliest people you could ever, ever meet and I am a better person for knowing them.

The friends that I have made here are friends that I hope to have for many, many years. :-4:-4:-4

It's not for me to say what you should or should not do. If you feel you should email Scot girl then perhaps you answered your own question If you feel what you posted was funny and not offensive there would be no reason for you to even consider contacting her or retracting your post. Im only doing it because you brought my statement to light. When I wrote it it never even crossed my mind that there would be a possibility she would fear me.

Hey Im not above admitting wrong doing if in fact I have done wrong.

As much utterly senseless stuff as I throw around here trust me Im poised to repair damage quickly and sincerely.

Its never been my aim to hurt anyone here but if I do I appreciate the opportunity to adjust.

There's too many who Have had me thinking happy thoughts and a few who have had me thinking of murder but all up I think the connection between myself and others has been a fantastic experience . I'm beginning to believe that if I jumped on a plane tomorrow there'd be a bed waiting for me somewhere.What you want for breakfast;)

Ive really been there for me. My advice to myself has been stellar.

The late nights Ive spent listening to myself and offering support to me have gotten me over some rough bumps.
