here'd mine from your list! :guitarist
The Man in the Mirror - Micheal Jackson. A song about making a change in your life for the better.
Every Breath you Take - The Police. A misunderstood song, often mistakenly used as a love song, when in fact it is about a controlling relationship.
100 Years - Five for Fighting. An absolutely wonderful song about life and getting older, looking back at your youth and reassuring your younger self about things.
Imagine - John Lennon. I am sure this one is on every list in the world, but that's okay, it's worth it.
I would do Anything for Love (But I won't do that) - Meatloaf. Another love song with a message, you have to listen to what it is he won't do in the conversation between male and female parts, it's actually very positive.
In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins. A haunting song with many different interpretations..
Sitting on the Dock of the Bay - Odis Redding. A nice melody, good lyrics.
Unanswered Prayers - Garth Brooks. If we are all lucky we can thank God for unanswered prayers. I had to put a country song ya know

Almost the same as you, Kaz (except I prefer Sting's Fields of Gold).
I'd forgotten about Bitter Sweet Symphony, just watched it on YouTube, brilliant
