As to Sharon stone and what she said, what I can say is that she is a bitch!

你好!I am a chinese citizen in Beijing now, Don't doubt if I am a real chinese citizen or not.Check my ID. I can log in your website in Beijing. Don't say that we are censored.

Earthquake is a natural disaster and has nothing to do with Chinese government and Chinese people. The epicenter of this earthquake is located within Tibetan and Qiang Ethnic Autonomous District. Many victims are Tibetan and Qiang ethnics. By the way, all countries recognize that Tibet is part of China. It must be clear that Chinese government only reformed slavery system of old Tibet but didn't change Tibet's culture. Tibetan has every right that Han Chinese people have but Han Chinese don't have many privileges that Tibetan have. Living standard of Tibetan is dramatically improved. Go to Tibet, find the truth for yourself. Current Tibet issue is a politic game by which Western countries are against China. If Chinese government had treated Tibetan like the way Australia treated aborigines, there wouldn't be a Tibet issue.

Why do you still believe what Dalai lama told you? Do you see the truth? Do you know what real chinese and tibetan think?Do you know the history in china and tibet during 1949-1959 after world war 2?

He's said a lot of things about a lot of subjects. He's also said, more times than I can count, that he's not asking anyone for a "free Tibet" whatever a free Tibet might mean, he wants Tibet to remain a part of China. That's why I don't know what "what Dalai lama told you" means.

so If he wants tibet to be a part of China, what is the problem then?

Why do so many western people carry Tibet flags when the olympic torch relay in France and USA? Is Tibet not free now? Who said Tibet is not free? Why do they want to free Tibet?

Dalai lama hasn't been to China for 50 years, how does he know what China is like, what Tibet is like?

If you say we are brainwashd by our government, then why can't we say you are brainwashed by your biased media and your "true" Tibet leader Dalai lama?

Although he has told you more stuff than us , it doesn't mean he is correct and we are evil.

China is totally opened and free, we are not nuts anymore. We can justify things too.

Who gives a damn about what Sharon Stone says about anything? She is just an actress who became famous for flashing her genitalia, I didn't realize she had become a US spokesperson for international affairs. Just get over it, she's an idiot, ban her from China if you don't like her attitude (which is a bit petty, but if thats how ye lot deal with things so be it) and move on.

No kidding Galbally!

SPC, don't be under the impression that most Americans even care what Sharon Stone or any celebrity thinks. We can think for ourselves. Sharon Stone is not our personal representative.

You know, I want so much to plead "Please don't judge us by our celebrities", but given the cult of personality in the US and our penchant for watching every move they make, and gawking and tittering over every thoughtless and deplorable faux pas some of them commit in the public eye, I can't help but believe that their "fame" actually does say something about our culture, and it ain't pretty.

Having stated that, I feel I have to point out that Sharon did have that brain thingy awhile ago, so...

That might also explain why she asked Sean Combs if he spent all of his money on crack. If I were her publicist, that's the tack I would take.

Everyone with a Free Tibet flag is an ignorant and embarrassing fool. I said so at the time, here on ForumGarden.

I still don't know what you think the Dalai Lama said which you're so upset about though. I really would like to know the answer. I think you're critical of him for no good reason.

I don#t know what kind of person Dalai Lama is , Maybe he is a good lama.I just don#'t understand why some countries are very unfriendly against China...

Are they concerned about China's rise? Do they consider it as a threat?...

What we only want is good and peaceful life.

Don't you mean that she is an "imperialist running dog" ?

Don't tell me you've gone all Western on us, Supie !

So, I'm guessing when the Middle Kingdom becomes our overlord in a few years, we can expect all of Sharon Stone's movies will be burned ?

To the best of my knowledge the Dalai Lama is delighted by the increased prosperity and happiness of the people of China. He's a Buddhist. His concern regarding Tibet is that those people there who want to practice Buddhism in the traditional way should be allowed to. You'll understand that during the changes after 1949 his life was at risk unless he went into exile, and many changes were made to Tibetan monasteries during the cultural revolution.

He's said many times that he has no desire to see Tibet establish its own foreign policy or to be independent of China. He sees many benefits for China in having a large thriving Buddhist community within its borders, he actively wants Tibet to continue to be a part of China. He'd like to end his exile too, now that his life isn't at risk. You accept, I hope, that during those times it's quite likely that he could well have died had he stayed - lots of his friends who did stay died.

I don't see any reason why China should consider the man to be anti-Chinese, he doesn't seem to be. He's an asset for you, not a threat.

Some of us are here to talk nicely to each other and some are here to blow raspberries. Perhaps there's no qualitative difference but I like to pretend there might be.
