A friend of mine here suggested we make new voice recordings. I'm thinking since we have a lot o fnew members here, that it might be fun to hear everyone. I know we have other threads like this but I didn't want to dig them up, I thought we could have a nice new one.

You can record your voice using Windows>Start>Accessories>Sound Recorder and a microphone or your Skype headset. I had trouble doing that because it recorded in .wma format and FG doesn't accept that. So I went here and got this free download:

It worked like a charm. Easy Peasy.

My phone is saving voice clips in AMR format, I am trying to convert to wav, tried your link Red and got swamped with pop ups and trial expired please pay now lol so ive uninstalled and now im trying my samsung phone software...Dunno why im bothering cos my voice is awful....

I don't, Giggle, but I know it's not very long. Mainly just a "hi, how ya doing" type thing.

Well i did get it down to 7 seconds but it still says it is too big.

I think we had a similiar thread a long time ago, so you may find some more recordings if you can find that thread (assuming it's still there of course!)

Hi Carol. Sorry I didn't get to this sooner!

Go to your Windows Start Menu and click on Accessories and then click on Sound Recorder. It will pop up and then you record your message onto it, then name the file and save to the folder of your choice. Then come here and upload the file using the attachment manager and post it.
