Is she a good neighbor? Just charge her for parts.
or...charge her for parts and time for your labor..............she and you should sit down and decide that before the job has begun., get it in writing, signed, notarized.

I would tell your neighbor
"Depending on whats all involved will decide what I will charge"
Installing a toilet can be time consuming - bolts, level, - problems - problems..
Now, If your new to the area - how'd you get reeled into this deal ??
I'll assume your neighbor is fairly young, cute , chat, chat, etc......
Depending on your conversation with your neighbor - how'd you handle this issue if at all $$$ ? Are you expected to offer your services ? (meaning Mr. Handy Man)
I don't know if you should charge at all ? you were there - you tell us.

I have had friends/neighbors change my toilet for me and charged me nothing, I had to buy the parts and the toilet of course....It is up to you if you feel you need to charge. If this is something that you want to do for a profit with other people then I'd definately charge her, but keep it fair.

If you know what you're doing, I agree with Jester's suggestion. If you don't know what you're doing, keep away from installing a toilet. The only thing standing between a good relaxing dump and super-expensive water damage from a leak at floor level is a wax ring, and it's a bear to install right.
