So I'm sitting here wearing my fuzzy battery operated massage slippers from Conair that I *had* to have when I saw them in Walmart around Christmas time. I thought they were a great idea. Well I found them this morning, remembering that I'd set them aside to return to Walmart because they weren't all that impressive. They're okay though. Kinda tingly but no big deal really. Sort of a lemon.
What kinds of things have you bought or been given that just didn't make the grade? Maybe a Salad Shooter or the Ronco Clapper? :wah: Any lemons in your closet??

A Wind Tunnel Vacuum. It sucked my cat into the cup and it took me hours to get her out :wah:

Toilet seat.
Geez, how hard is it to just go to the store, buy something, bring it home and have it work without having to call someone to install it???:-5
*Sigh*. . . I don't want to talk about it anymore.

We bought a 2002 Ford Windstar. Ran great for awhile then of course when the warranty ran out and the thing was just about paid off, it started to give me trouble especially after everytime I went over a bridge near home, it would start to cough, shake and do weird things. So, I would have to turn it off and then restart it. Finally got rid of it. They offered $1,000.00 for it, but we stood firm and they finally gave us $6,000.00 - never so glad to get rid of that POS.

I didn't read back, but who besides me had a wooden toilet seat? They are horrible. Ours broke and everytime you took a seat, the damn thing would bite you in the side of your butt when you got off. Of course, my dh taped the darn thing and it worked for maybe a month, but after that I took it off the toilet and threw it out.

My daughter enjoys doing jigsaw puzzles. A few years back I bought her one of those green mats that you could do a puzzle on and then roll up to save for later. Well, we found out that didn't work as advertised as the puzzle would come undone. Good thing my daughter is the patient type.

AFTR, yeah, I saw those mats, but didn't buy one for the same reason. I saw it in Consumer Reports that they were junky. Think I'll just stick to puzzles with 50 pieces.
