For 60 years now the argument has raged about whether an alien spacecraft of some description crash landed in New Mexico in 1947 and to prove it was nothing to worry about USA airman Jesse Marcel was photographed with a few ounces of tinfoil (the kind you cook your sunday joint in) and he explained that all it was, was a weather balloon that had crash landed.

All the independent eye witnesses say it was a disc shaped craft about 25 ft. in diameter and was taken away under full armed military escort.

1. It was immediately given classified information status. Why?

2. 60 years on it still has full classified status. Why? What can be so secret about

aluminium tinfoil?

3. In 1997 fifty years after the event American nuclear physicist Stanton Freedman sent off for details (under the freedom of information act 50 year rule) the information was point blank refused to him. Why?
