This is one of the worst times of the year for me. I start worrying April 16th. Yeeees that is the day after I paid taxes last year. Now it's the time I get f'd eventhough I save more money every year just for the IRS. The IRS is my money God - I make offerings all year and then they want a human sacrifice. I no longer have a first born to give them.

Filling out my tax form is easy! It reads:



Question 1: How much did you make this year?



Question 2: How much did you spend?



Question 3: How much do you have left?

I'm gonna go look up the tax convo we had last year & see what we said. I'll bet it's nearly the same. :wah:



This year ('07) I made about 50% more than last ('06). I'm still in the lowest income bracket, but somehow my tax liability doubled. WTF??!?! :-2



I'm writing a big check this year. I mean, it's nice to have a reason to pay more tax, but I can't figure out how it went up so much.

This was my last year with a dependant child, I got money back. I will not count on it next year, and keep the money I saved to go towards what I probably will have to pay then.

We have to file an extension. Since my husband owns a business and made a profit, we are getting too much back. But, we are getting that nice check from the government = $1,200 for us and $300 for each kid, nice.

How much of that are you sending my way Duck? :wah:
