The ITN News is today announcing the death of one of the greats of Science Fiction.

Whilst in his early life he was involved in the development of the first RADAR systems, he invented the concept of the communications satelite and was heavily involved in the spread of SCUBA diving, it will be for his writing that he will be remembered.

Ah, what a story teller he was, and the things he envisioned. I loved his works.

Yes, quite sad to hear that, loved his books, and his optimism about the future. He did have a long life though, great writer, and a great man really.
