First day off today. I went over to my new apartment 30 miles away from where Im living now. I made a deal to paint , clean, and repair little things for reduced rent. I drove there in my Ford F150 ( 2000 ) the insurance is paid. I stopped on the way to get a non fat vanilla latte.. picked up a few things at Lowes. Paint, Kilnz, Rollers etc..... Worked there for a few hours,
( Got a late start as I am pretty crippled on Sundays) Came home, nice and warm in this apartment. Mixed an Absolute Vodka with Orange and a splash of Cranberry. Cooked a T Bone steak.. ( on sale at Kroeger ) had sliced celery with roasted red peppers, with greek balsamic dressing. I am posting this thread. Then I will take a steaming hot bath... slip down onto my queen sized memory foam bed... fall asleep while watching a DVD ( granted on my 19inch 25.00 TV.) get up in the morning... make a pot of Madaglia Doro espresso with half and half.. drive to the new apartment, and paint again tomorrow. Not too shabby huh? I dont have many belongings, but I certainly am comfortable, and Im definately not hungry. I dont think this is being poor. Now, everything will be fine..... as long as I can be fortunate enough to keep my health. Thank you God.
