Thank you all for your kind thoughts, it reinforces how good people can be on here. Things are quite difficult at the moment, not made any easier by the fact that Christine (my sister) was only 55 and it makes things much harder to accept, at least Mum at 94 had had a good life until the final 6 months. Life seems so unfair sometimes but I have to remember that it's just as hard for others.

Oh Choccy, I'm so sorry to hear of your sad loss. You've been through the mill this year, you poor love. Life has dealt you some terrible blows and you've handled them like a trooper, you've been so strong for your mum and your sister. Now's the time to take comfort in the arms of your family, share your love for each other and grieve together. You'll all be in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you'll gain strength from your family and come back to being your usual wonderful self.

I am so happy that Abbey started this thread for you as I read your journal the other night and was going to start a thread also for you.

Words cannot describe how sad I am for the loss of your mom and sister. I was devistated to hear of this sad news. Losing close family members and dear friends is something that I have a hard time dealing with lately.

Please know that all of my thoughts are with you at this sad time. You know that you have friends in FG who will always be here for you if you wish to chat.

Just the other day I was looking through the old thread that FG has of many of its members, and I came across a photo of your family at a wedding. I stopped and thought, "How lovely is this picture, I'm going to make sure that I pm Chocolate and tell her what a lovely family she has." Your mom and sister looked so darling and I wanted to give all of you a hug:-4

Thank you all again, I am still trying hard to make sense of things because it all happened so quickly (just over 5months) and right after Mum's illness and death and there doesn't seem to have been enough time to stop and get things clear in my head.

I shall probably try and go away for a short break after next week's funeral service but I will be around again on a more regular basis after that.
