Must admit I laughed when they lost - sorry Chelsea fans.
I thought Ramos English interview afterwards was great. I'm sure he kept trying to say London, but couldn't say it properly, mind you his English has improved a lot!

Jimbo is a Spurs fan, so he is most likely out celebrating that his team won!

They are a team in England's top football league - or as it is called in the US - soccer.
Today was the final of a competition which they won.

Today was the final of a competition which they won.oh okay... I'm use to people calling soccer football... at my college a lot of people here are foreign so they call it football... so i kinda get confused when my american buddies are watching football and my foreign buddies are watching football...then i remember american football is not playing! lol so yay spurs? see i was thinking basketball.. but that seemed highly unlikely!

I'll admit that was a bad tackle, but whenever I heard that it was too graphic to show again I was a little surprised, surely they could have just given a warning if need be, it's not like his leg fell off or anything.
Anyway I wish a speedy recovery to Eduardo - even if he is an Arsenal player.

Well as much as I love my Liverpool side, I think you will find that at least in the league it's only the big 3 at the moment, but I see your point!

So Portsmouth beating ManU doesn't float your boat, three lower league teams in the last four of the cup does not impress, four teams in the top five of MotoGP is not worth watching?

Absolutely...
I think Cardif City beating Middlesbrough was awesome...
Not too excited about Portsmouth beating Man U because quite frankly I don't like any other team but Fulham in the English Premier League...There are only a select few that I like to see do well...For instance I think Evertons run is quite impressive...I really hope they beat out Liverpool for that coveted 4th spot...
Other than that like I've said not too excited in the sports world considering that Fulham are seriously in dire straights...

Middlesbrough are in a bad way - they did not deserve to win because they did not have the will to win.
My mate's from Pompey so that result has to be good
Now that Al Fyed's money has gone I see Fulham going the way of Wyckham Wanderers and Rushton & Diamonds.
Hope your race team's doing well? F1 kicks off next week and I doubt Nascar can be far behind. Best of luck for the coming season.

Thanks Abbey I'm glad to say that another Italian team bits the dust, after our pretty good performance, though I suppose it did help having a handy ref and Ibrahimovic being useless! :wah:
Now all we need now is for all the English sides to avoid each other and look forward to an all Brit semis and final! :-6

It's sort of a questionable situation Al Fayed has allowed to progress within his business stature...
He's given Chris Coleman no money to work with at the same time waiting until the last possible moment to invest in his team which is a cause for concern as far as team chemistry is concerned...
I question his motivation all together...

Aren't you a Fulham fan K? I'm sure you know then that Chris Coleman left them a long, long time ago, Roy Hodgeson (spelling wrong I'm sure,) is in charge, and as much as I hate to say it, they may be getting relegated in a few weeks. Hope not though, I like Fulham.

I know all of that...
Al Fayed never had given Chris Coleman nearly as much money as he has Lawry Sanchez I don't believe...
