A hell of a lot of very hard work in there - and I'd guess a fair amount of work still to do.

Who do they have to get to certify airworthiness before she can fly again?

They are not flying it due to the amount of insurance it would cost, however it is being revamped to fly although it will not,do you know what I mean.. It will stay at RAF Metherington Museum,it is there now along with the other

Jet Provost XS177 that one is ours and they will revamp that one when they have finished the XS186.....

All the best Lady R L of Lochaber please call me Ritz....

Then kudos to them for doing it right without expecting a payout (flying her) beyond the job itself.

I just found this thread. WOW exactly. Has any one on this thread heard of an aviation artiste called "Brian Mullins"?? I have a small collection of aviation art due to my dad being a spitfire pilot during WW11. My collection includes dads original gas mask, leather bomber jacket & log books. Things that i would race back into my house for even if it was an inferno. My small collection has spitfires but i also acquired an original pencil drawing by Brian Mullins of a "Hunting Provost". It is signed by him. I have been on e bay to not much avail but have found Brian Mullins on the net & he is famous. I took it to an expert who said he could not put a price on it. I'm a girlie, so i don't have much of a clue. Can any one help me out???

I remember wearing it a lot. :wah:
