How dangerous is Nuclear engineering for fuel or otherwise?

Britain's Nuclear Station - Sellafield is one of the world's largest, and is just 65 miles across the Irish sea in Cumbria.

If Bin Laden al Qu'ida or any terrorist group were to firebomb this station, the whole of the United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe would be wiped out in 10 minutes or less.
