Why should you never mention the number 288 in front of anyone?

How many eggs can you put in an empty basket?

If there were 9 cats on a bridge and one jumped over the edge, how many would be left?

There is a barrel with no lid and some wine in it.

"This barrel of wine is more than half full," said Curly.

"No it's not," says Mo. "It's less than half full."

Without any measuring implements and without removing any wine from the barrel,

how can they easily determine who is correct?

ok you can see the top so you can see how far down it is, so if you tilt it up to the top to show the bottom pressumably its less than half but if the bottoms still all covered in wine its more than half full...:-3
