ACT I
A path winds through a park. Rogers, a tall man with a large nose walks beside his acquaintance, Wagner, who shuffles and adjusts his hat. Wagner stops to study something on the ground and Rogers, annoyed at having to wait, stares up at the sky
Rogers: It's hot out today.
Wagner: It's snowing.
Rogers: Do you have some sunscreen?
Wagner: It's night.
Rogers: Do you have it?
Wagner: No.
Rogers: You really ought to carry some with you.
Wagner: I don't use it.
Rogers: The sun can cause a lot of damage you know.
Wagner: I'm aware of that. I usually have some in the summer.
Rogers: You said you didn't use it, so you lied.
Wagner: I don't use it in winter.
Rogers: I don't believe you. It's not like the sun only exists in summer.
Wagner: No. But it's only out in the daytime.
Rogers: Are you trying to be clever?
Wagner: I usually don't have to try.
Wagner leans over and picks up a small object from the ground. Rogers is happy to be walking again.
Rogers: It sure is hot.
Wagner continues walking.
Rogers: I say. It sure is hot.
