Larry LaPrise Dead at 93

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it

is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which

almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokie Pokey" died peacefully at

the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him

into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

Shut up. You know it's funny.

all i can say to that is, "Sit on my face and tell me that you love me. I'll sit on your face and tell you i love you"

..................and every single time in my life from now on after I do the "Hokey Pokey" I shall stop and have a moment of silence and just be thankful that such a happy classic was composed for all of us to enjoy.
