I have always thought that females are generally a much tidier sex than our beloved males. Until ........ I had a daughter ....... she is a junk hog! She collects everything and will not throw anything away! I am currently in the process of trying to clean her room out - she wants to keep EVERYTHING .... the odd skanky shell, bits of paper with stickers on ..... EVERYTHING!

Is it just my daughter!!

Being the mum of sons,I thought they were the worst, well my two created havoc as soon as they could crawl and have not changed since,I don't think it is down to gender though, you just get messy and tidy people.

No it is not just your daughter.

Mouldy oranges in bags, fur growing uneaten sandwiches in boxes.

That was when she was younger.

Now she has her own home & children it is payback:wah:

She has turned into a clean freak & her daughter has turned into her.

She tells me about it all the time .I just look at her & smile

Ah the serenity:sneaky:

Our son was always tidy when he was younger & is still not to bad.

I loved the bit about manky orange peel .... she hasn't started collecting them yet, but give her time

No you don't. You choose to. You could always delegate cleaning them to her!

jeeez take a chill pill man...Of course I choose too, my whole post was said in a humorous tone Joe. I dont make my kids clean, just tidy up after themselves. Sometimes they ask to help and we all do it together with fun. My choice, my kids...My mum had a problem with cleaning due to my father beating the crap out of her if he found a speck of dust, we in turn were brought up with floors so polished I was full of bruises and a childhood tainted by HAVING to clean...My house my rules..Jeez sometimes I feel im walking on egg shells with what you post here!!!

I have to agree with you Chez, I think Joe's post was a little unnecessary, and showed that he needs to get a sense of humour and lighten up!!

Lets set the frogs onto him (:-3 Joe is male right?)

Oh my gosh! :wah:

You seem to be having the same problem as me. I can't get mine to throw anything out either. We were just having that same talk about fifteen minutes ago. She still has rattels and theethers from when she was a baby.

She wants to save them for her 100 baby dolls.:-5

I have a big ginormous box in my livingroom, that her Jeep came in that she got for christmas. I told her she has a choice. She can put things in the box to get rid of, or i will. So far the box is almost empty. But i have made up my mind, wednesday when she goes back to school, Mommy is CLEANING HOUSE! She probablly won't miss a thing. She doesn't play with 20% of what she has. Usually she just drags things out, and leaves it where it lays.

It looks like Toys R Us EXPLODED at my house.

I wish you luck Pheasy!:)

My house is clean. It always is. Considering I cook every day and there is not one dirty dish in the sink I figure I'm doing alright.

It doesn't have anything to o with the gender. A slob is a slob.
