The Dolphins Call

Beyond the rise and swelling sea
I move towards the sun
A voice that calls is telling me
That there I'll find the one.
And if I dive into the wave
In trust and innocence
A dolphin's back will carry me
To find my long lost prince.
The one who's soul is bound to mine
Through time and tribulation
Will once again be brought to me
In strength and in duration.
I look to you and in you see
My fate and my true destiny
The dolphins came to rescue me
Answering the call to set me free.
And now I've found my one, true mate
I do not fear or hesitate
To look into your endless eyes
And in them know my future lies.

OMG OMG you have captured it beautifully!!! please email it to me so i can send it to him! wonderful, beautiful, fantastic! Koan you are a poet laureate! or will be! thankyou, and that is not adequate. a thousand thanks is not adequate. incredible. and i thank your muse as well!

Nice imagery. Dolphins- most intelligent and mysterious animals besides humans. Trusting in a guide who knows more than we do.

Don't tell that to the whales! If they hear you? You are not safe anywhere. Their internet was in existence long before ours.

Their internet was in existence long before ours.Maybe, but I would think dolphins are smaller, quicker and more manuverable than whales, so they have more complex experiences and more interactions with other species than whales do. Anyway, I don't live close to the ocean. I have to watch out for skunks, snakes and bears.
