The Serpent and the Rainbow.

The first American Werewolf, but that may have been late 70's. (1981)

**Edit** I got beat on the American Werewolf. I love that movie, it still scares me.

I've never seen American Werewolf. But I'm not a fan of gory movies. :o

E.T. was made in 80's I think. But I always liked Flight of the Navigator better.

It is an awesome movie. I still can not watch it by myself and I ain't scared of anything. It just makes me jump.

E.T. was the very first movie I watched in a theater. I remember my dad had an old chevy silverado, red, and I can see myself sitting on the floorboard under my mom's feet soaking in the heat. It came out in '82 so I was 5.

It is gory but not as much as most movies today. It is more the suspense. I'll post a clip.

Why the hell will some threads allow embedding and others won't? Especially the writing forum?

Pay attention at the 1:53 mark thats when it starts...

At least I left out Zombies Replay Ninja III, it really didn't work for me.

On the other hand I just checked and Peking Opera Blues scrapes into the 80s as well so I'll have that instead. I've never seen a movie quite like that, it was wonderful.

Do you know what I can still remember that raw emotion I felt for Danny, remember the carnival scene with the mirror when he appears to look normal. jeeez that pulled at my heart strings...

Another tear jerker for me was The Champ, 1979 (remake)so just misses out but boy I loved that film..:)
