Went to the Canberra-French Christmas party last night, Heather. Totally awesome do. Very informal, though lots of diplomatic cars vied for park space with the rest of us. Everything home cooked and totally delicious. And desserts to die for/from. Chrissie party stuff was combined with a talent show - everything from carols to juggling, folk songs to comedy skits.. to an uproarious can can at the end. Oh la la!!!! Staggered home in ze wee hours.

Just had a very very naughty conversation with my daughter - cell phone to cell phone - she was in full commute on the Eurostar at the time. :sneaky:

Things are fine this end.

Winding up another very busy school year.We (staff) ate lollies & chocolates all day today;)

Our staff party is on tonight.

We have actually got some green grass growing.

What a change from the past 6/8 years.

Littlie here doesn't finish school till the end of next week. The kindergarten class has had two weeks of swim lessons. All good fun. The teachers look exhausted. All Chrissie parties and cleaning up next week. Got his report card today. Not too bad!!!

We've got some green grass too. Amazing, isn't it. And even a few mozzies - which betokeneth moisture.

We don't finish till Friday next week .Most of the staff will be travelling so we had our party early.
