Been so out of sorts repairing this little antique radio for someone. My wife said I looked "bog eyed", after doing the close work all day I decided to have my photo taken to prove I was not "bog eyed", at all :yh_rotfl

Hi,

Yes I collect and restore them (also restore for other people).

I did 20 years in electronics as an engineer until I had to retire due to health problems (see other threads). I then had to find something to put my time in. I love old radios; They have some style about them and are not just "clones", of each other.

I have somewhere about over 200 of them here:yh_drool

Best wishes,

Paul:)

How do you - or wher do you display all the radios?

you must have a shop..

I have a couple of old tube radios - love 'em & they work.. - I love to have a old tube radio - RED one - most of my house is RED.

theres nothing like them - its like the dash of a old Olds. with old crome etc..

How cool

Hi,

No shop I am afraid, Although a vintage wireless repair shop would be just me!

Just a bungalow with radios (wireless sets) all over the place and a large outdoor storage shed in the garden for the overspill;)

I am glad to say that my wife gives me every encouragement, because when I was ill I lost interest in everything and since taking the collecting and restoring up I have found something to "keep the bad moods away". :)
