We all know that washing machines eat socks... what do you do with the widows?

I try to match them with other socks of the same style and color or else I toss them. They make good dusting mitts though.

only buy black socks same make same style

wear them under long boots - nobody ever asks to see if your socks match.

I know I know, what if I got run over by a bus, and the doctor had to take my boots off?

You can cut off the foot part and stick the tube part over a spray can.

It doesn't help the can...its just warm and softer on your grip.

The go in the lonely sock basket till I find the match. And every couple of years I go through the lonely sock basket and toss socks that have found no match.

Most US citizens use them to clean our guns with.

I have 2 lonely sock drawers, and they all go there until I get around to matching them up for the kids...

I have a lonely sock drawer which funnily enough only has hubbys single socks in it.....Every few months I manage to match a pair or two up.
