Seamonkey...Opera...Apple Safari for Win.

Anybody using any of these browsers? What are the pros and cons?

I spent the whole day working on this thing because Firefox suddenly decided to fail to work. I have certain programs I can't give up but they don't all run on the same browser- they're unsupported. So now I have the above three plus Internet Suxplorer. I figured I'd be looking at some major browser conflict but so far things are running okay. But anyway who can tell me anything about Seamonkey, Opera and Safari for Windows?

Hi,

I have used quite a few! I am all Mac here with a G5. The "microsoft internet explorer", for mac OSX is c:mad:p. I did use firefox for a while and it's predecessor mozzilla but these are now failing to do a good job. I now use "Camino", which is good and fast :)

Paul.

Firefox has always worked very well for me. I have Opera on my machine as well, but have hardly used it. Thanks to a program called IEradicate, I have Explorer bound and gagged in a closet.

Go to CNet.Com ( http://www.download.com/Browsers/?tag=dir ) for reviews of those in which you're interested as well as quite a few others such as Avant and Maxthon.

Beware of "browsers" that are really only greasepaint for IE. The interface may be cooler/prettier, but it's the same little greedy man behind the curtain.

I have Firefox and that's good for me as I use ebay a lot and it lets me open up several tabs or windows along with the original browser window. My college also used the Safari.
