Actually (to my surprise) I had a piece of Australia today!
I had a "Naval Orange" here in New England, that had a sticker on it that said: product of Australia. (it was very good!) That was the first time ever had anything from Australia. (That I know of)
That was strange, as usually the Oranges here in the markets are from Florida, & or California. (Guess it really must have been a tough fruit season here as they said)

The Braeburn Apples from New Zealand are also a good eat. They are available in U.S. markets seasonally.

Very interesting, Cars. I've never seen a Florida orange in Australia. But we regularly get the Californian navels. When ours are out of season.

G'day Kathy Ellen. This thread is a bit fraught with double entendre possibilities, I think. Taking the piece. Getting a piece. When Cars is navel gazing, he may be contemplating forbidden fruit.
:sneaky:
Reckon it might be time to crack a bottle of champers!

I'm not a beer drinker, Magenta, but have enjoyed Hahn, Coopers even XXXX. What do you like?
(I agree on Fosters. And anyway, overseas it's made by other brew companies, on licence, and is not terribly like the Aussie version. An exported idea.)

The English Fosters so so much better than the Australian version. Quite liked VB tho.

Probably depends on the historical baggage of your tastebuds.
