Do any of you notice how many new members have been popping up lately? I keep seeing names I don't recognize, and I look into their profiles to see how many posts they have, and usually it's only 1 or 2. Hey, new people: Come say "Hi"!!! We love getting to know new members! (I feel safe speaking for everyone on that) Tell us something about you! There's a board specifically made for introductions...check it out! I've been pretty impressed with the quality of the members here. I'm stil sorting out the various personalites, though. Who's the bouncy youngster? Who's the crusty sage? etc. etc.

The news tonight said that "blogging" is really becoming mainstream. From his description, it sounded a lot like the forums. I always tell everyone I know about good forums, but some people, particularly in the remote regions of the country like mine, are still a little wary.

When I tell them about it, they usually go "Oh, you mean a chat room? I thought only teenagers and child molesters hang out there."
