If you could open your own retail store, what kind of merchandise would you sell?

That's easy. I'd have a pagan/metaphysical gift shop that would smell like a Wicks & Sticks because I'd load it with candles. Not everything would be pagan related but that aspect would be prevalent. I'd have all sorts of beautiful things at a fair price and my shop would be user friendly. I'm sure I would have a cat in residence but I'd take him or her home with me every night for safety.

I would have an antique dealership of some sort with backroom for refinishing furniture (of course I would be the best in the business for this sort of thing ) I could also really love some sort of gardening store. There is a Japanese garden store that opened up not too long ago in my neighborhood. It looks so peaceful and beautiful-- I'd like running a shop like that. I'd need to hire a book-keeper because to make a profit I would have to stretch and keep track of every penny, right?

A book store or scrapbooking supply store that specializes in paper.

Chocolate ! Of course I would have to keep sampling each new batch as it came in. Don't suppose though I would end up making much profit!

I had a teddy bear shop for a while and loved that, would do that again.



My dream was always to have a book shop with big squashy sofas for people to sit in and look at the books before they buy them and serve coffee and cake, but I'd happily let people sit and read all day for free so I'd make no money!

An embroidery shop. I'd call it "In Stitches". I would sell craft and needlework items and have workshops for all different kinds of needlecrafts.

Probably some kind of nick nack shop, as I love those and yet they are so rare today (well at least where I live,) and it's always such a good feeling finding a hidden treasure amongst everything.

hubby and I have joked about opening a combination book store/video game store so he could play all day and I'd have millions of books all to myself!

It would be right next door to Kathy's shop, at lunchtimes and after work I would snuggle on a sofa with a great book annd a glass of champers :-4

Yea actually I want to open an art gallery where I would have books and good coffee too. And have champaign receptions on Friday nights. Mostly for students to show their art and sell it.

Well you could to that on ebay. And you could name that too.

I opened my own business for over 4 years. It came to a screaming crash on 9/11/01..........The people who provided me came to a crash.........as in aircraft were grounded. My business pretty much ended there.

I would like a psychic store. You know talk to the dead and stuff.

A bookstore, with all my favorite books to read..........
