ok guys im a nut

there was a song about a truck driver who one night spotted a child

standing in the rain

he stopped and the child asked for a lift home

when he got there he look in the back of the cab and no one was there

he knocked on the door a woman answered he ask if the girl lived there

the woman thanked him for bringing her home ......but she had died on the road he picked her up on

who is the singer and whats the title

I love the song Teddy bear, can't listen to it or I'll bawl like a baby, my ex husband got the brilliant idea to play that song for me when I was in labor with our first son....
