Well today marks the 30th Annaversery of the Death of Elvis :( he will never be forgoten and will always remain a Legend

OOOPS, I posted in HIS thread about today being 30 years since his death....and then stumbled on this thread...sorry ML!!

He truly is a Legend, they played him this morning on the local radio station and I thought...NEVER ever will there be a man to sound like him....:-1:-4

He died on my brothers 14th birthday which makes my brother 44 today ie: older than Elvis.

I've only come to truly appreciate Elvis in recent years. I see his album is No.1 at the moment so the music lives on

I was 10 years old when he died....and I remember Mom being devastated, she LOVED Elvis...just recently we found OLD records that she kept of his....she talks about selling them and I give her the EVIL EYE!!!

He was indeed very talented.

You wonder what his life would have been like without the Colonel's influence.

I could see Elvis in West Side Story as the male lead.
