My beloved wants to throw this candle away. Do you see the face?

Yes I see the little face! Why throw it out? Does she feel it's creepy? I think it's neat.

My fault. [smilie=4,19,37] I kept turning it toward her when she wasn't looking.

do you think someone from the Vatican should come down to observe this amazing miracle?

It is of course the face of the Virgin Mary no doubt about it :p

I didn't see it at first, either. Then the opening post flashed back when I closed the attachment and I suddenly figured it out. Maybe try looking at it really fast in small version.

It looks a bit like Jack Skellington!

The brain is adept at discerning patterns, particularly those that resemble facial structures. There is a scene in the original 1963 version of The Haunting that plays upon this. The camera very slowly zooms in on a patch of wallpaper while the audience hears muffled voices as if from another room beyond the wall. As the camera nears, the viewer can begin to see the suggestion of a face in the pattern. Subtle, effective, and very creepy.
