hello, i have two comments. and i thought it might be good to have a "Dear Forum Garden" thread anyway. this morning there is pornography on the thread "telling on Cass". it has been reported. i know it's sunday morning and perhaps no admin around. but that poster needs to GO. i have to admit i couldn't contain myself and was quite rude to it. :D secondly, when i get a pm and then delete it, every time i log back in the pm notice pops up even though it is gone. odd. i hope an 'ask admin' thread or forum will continue. thanks! :) (sorry, i should have posted this in the request a forum forum!) :-2

Carla, i seen it...the posters name was Faceseat. i was surprised to see it and i said to myself...Saturday nite some-one is being funny. I hope we didn't over-react. These attachments would ruin the FG, even though we are adults we are not into that? Face-seat is what it was, use your imagination, it was not called for. Some-one was being a moron.

I was shocked when I clicked on the link and saw what I saw... this type of thing will ruin FG for all of us. I also reported in Lady Cop. there is no excuse for this type of behaviour...NONE

I missed the offending picture, (oh darn :yh_eyerol ) but can only imagine. And Gabs? No worries, this kind of thing won't ruin anything, the FG staff will weed out morons like this every time. See how many responded to it? Crap like that won't last long.

And LC, I like the idea of a "Dear Forum Garden" thread!

Baby, trust me you didn't miss one darned thing, that was one of the rudest things that poster could have done to this thread....I hope they are banned. :lips:

How about a male perspective; One of the great things about FG is the feeling of old friends relaxing, laughing at our foibles, secure enough to get raunchy, but respectful enough to never cross the line. We communicate with words, nuance, entendra, and sometimes use graphics to accentuate the verbal point.

Both the posters name, and the post were indicative of a pathetic, intellectually challanged mind. My guess, an unsupervised 10 - 12 year old that wanted attention.

Whatever the case, it needs to be stopped in its tracks, maybe a "911" link for immediate action. There are plenty of pornagraphic sites for the perverts, keep them the hell out of our garden. :-5 :yh_angry :yh_silent

Sounds like a storm in a teacup (c.f. J. Jackson's "exposure").

Now that the offensive poster's post is gone I can ask the question. Is he gone too?

Didn't see the post. Heard about it. Didn't need to look at it. Seen it all before. Too bad it was a slow day for the fg staff to get into work. Too bad it took so long to remove. Live and learn I guess. Glad its's gone.

Hope the staff snitches to the twelve year old's plea for attention to the parents. Warm backside would do wonders.

It hasn't any nudity, what's wrong with it? We've got pictures of various "Fr3nch letters" unremarked in the "The Garden".....

i don't think faceseat is in the 12-13 age range. i am also a bit surprised "he" is still here. i have noticed it's sig indicates a preference for "dominant" women....well if it weren't for the fact it might actually like it, i would offer a demonstration of "dominant".... :D .... let's see if it comes back to post, in the meantime i won't afford it any more of the attention it craves.

Wow good to see the FG members rally together and keep this place tidy. Good job gang. Treat pea brains like this with a child like technique, negative attention is still attention so are best ignored.

I agree, if the picture was enlarged, you would be able to see a woman with her legs spread and no underwear. I saved it to my desktop and then blew up the picture... it definately needs to be 'pruned' :-5

Gotta admit that I'm kinda conflicted, I'm a fanatic believer in the right to free expression, but I despise the intrusion in "my" garden. One poster harrumphed that this was a "tempest in a teapot" I would suggest that if someone crapped on his door sill, and he accidently stepped in it, he would be pretty upset. not of earth shaking significance, but damn disgusting. :(

Could not have said it better. It's a good thing that others are allowed to say things otherwise they'd all get lazy and let you do all the fun.

here's the story folks: shortly before being alerted to the post, i learned of an option in the forum software that does something pretty cool, on the face of it: it's a 'global ignore'. i add the user to a special list, and his posts become invisible to everyone on the Garden......except for the poster himself! i kind of like that - the poor sod merrily posting away, thinking he's having a grand old time disrupting the place, when in fact he's amusing only himself.

that's what i did with mssr. faceseat. the problem was the ID photo faceseat had added to his profile - i hadn't considered that. so while his posts remain invisible to the world, his profile continued to be there, where the probing minds of the ForumGarden elite picked it up and mentioned it here. Since then, the account has been removed.

I will probably employ the 'global ignore' however for the random spammer that shows up. and a reminder: email abuse@forumgarden.com, and we'll be paged - that way the losers who try to disrupt this place while have only the briefest of intervals with which to get away with it.

I was going to tell anastrophe about the profile in the members list but decided I wouldn't. Now I know why I didn't. Global ignore? What a concept. Don't go Bush on us!
