All of my mother's four husbands were younger, she died at age 91, looking 75. I am 10 years older than my wife and we are well suited. My thinking is that it depends on the individuals. What say you?

I agree with you, age is just a number to me, Jim is 13 years older than me but at times it seems as though he is years younger :D

I agree, I think it depends on the individuals...saying that...I've only had REALLY good experiences with men that are around my age within 2 years....I've only dated Men that were considerably younger than me and it didn't bother me at first...but then maturity played a major role once I got to know them better...so it didn't work out for very long.

I think a 10 year age difference or round about is ok but much bigger than that is a bit dodgy. Old men or women with much younger partners say 30 year different is a big no no and a bit perverted as far as i think.

I don't think age should factor into it at all. If two people care about one another, and have things in common, and both want a relationship, then I say go for it. Personally, older men have proven to be better companions.

I think it depends more on the life experiences you have in common and how well your personalities click, rather than the actual numbers themselves.

My hubby is 10 years older than me. Funnily though my mum predicted when I was 16 that I'd end up with someone 10 years older!
Age doesn't matter if you're happy. The only time I can see it being an issue is if the older partner is unwilling or unable to have children and the younger one really wants them.
I know someone who had two children with his wife then had a vasectomy. The relationship has ended and he is now with a girl 20 years younger than him, at the moment she doesn't want children but what happens in ten years time when she is 27 and wants children - he'll be 47 and very unlikely to have a successful vasectomey reversal. (I don't think it'll be an issue 'cos the little bitchbag will have moved on the next sugar daddy when she's bled this one dry but you see my point!!)

i think after about age 21 age becomes a non-issue.
Me personally, give me a man 10 years my Jr, he needs to be young to keep up ahahaha
oh wait maybe that's more like he needs to be young to match my immaturity. :wah:

My boyfriend is 10 years older then me and we have been going out 7 years this October, I don't think age matters at all as like previous posts have said men do take longer to mature so really he is that same age as me in mind :p
although sometimes he acts like a 10 year old
but i wouldn't change a thing

No she wasn't rich. She was the old lady next door. Her kids thought he was popping round to do odd jobs, not do her.
He once said that she didn't like oral sex but he made her do it!!. Without her dentures presumably. :yh_sick

My ex-husband was 2 years older & I always swore I'd never date a younger man. Well, I sure have changed my view a lot! Most of the guys I've dated lately are 3-13 years younger than me! I had a bit of a problem with it until my daughter told me that age is just a number & you never know what age your soulmate might be. Besides, I find myself more attracted to younger rather than older men. As far as age difference, I don't much think it matters, no matter who's older. It depends on the people, personalities, & lifestyles.

I don't think age is a big deal. Its a personal choice really.Love should not have a number listed with it.Of course there should be a limit of decentcy.A 30 year old has NO business being with a 17 year old,but at 18 it's legal. I think its just a personal choice really.Age should not have an age limit, but a knowledge of decentcy.
Im older than my husband by 7 years
