Post by AussiePam »

I'm gonna hafta mosey along the heck outta here, git me me cowgal hat on, and me boots, saddle up me hoss and ride back in, shootin up a few cactuses on the way, jist to keep the yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw rollin on the Sweet Home Chisholm trail where the buffaloes roam.

Bacon and beans anyone?

(Walnuts don't quite fit, somehow... more like the Dordogne area of France.. with truffles and foie gras)

Now pecans....

Or are they pecans???

I need a long neck. Or a long horn cow.

:sneaky:

Hey Chris, Yes it's me. Life's been a tad busy of late. Popped in again some time ago, but then had a few troubles at home, so have not been back.. In need of some company and a beer though. One for you? How the heck have you been?

Well I'm sorry to hear about your recent troubles, you know that if you ever need a chat or a hug then I'm here for ya! :-4 :-6

I'm fine thanks, life has been going well, family is well - though my dad is going for a operation tommorow which we are thinking off, but other than that things couldn't be better thank you!! I mean even the weather, (which was supposed to be horrid,) is wonderful so I really can't complain hehe.

Oh and here is your beer, cheers! :)

Cheers!

Hope that your dad's op goes well. On top of a few other things, my mum has also not been well. But the docs and specialist all do such a great job, that she's travelling well now. Hope the same goes for your Dad.

Is there a band playing tonight?

Thanks!

I'm glad to hear about your mum. I'm sure my dad will be fine, he has had many consultations about it and everything is in place for tommorow and as you say the doctors know what they are doing so I'm sure everything will go well!

No band today from what I know, not like the olden days when you, me, AC and Chonsi used to have a good sing-song and dance every morning. Sure were good memories hehehe. Mind you that's not to say that we can't get the old jukebox up and running again! :yh_dance

Ah yes, those were the days. Of course, it was always late at night for me - always why I was keen for a beer or two and a boogie! I remember it got me through a few lonely nights when hubby was away. He's left me now, so lots more lonely nights ahead. kinda why i have come back - for some familar sights and sounds.

Well I guess something upbeat, something that can lift all our spirits and make us forget any worries that we have. Now what song does that I have no idea, music isn't my strong point hehehe, so I will leave the choice up to you! :)

Whilst you decide I'm going to go look for the jacuzzi and see if it's still here! :D

How about some Beatles to get things started?

A Hard Day's Night

(Lennon/McCartney)

It's been a hard day's night, and I'd been working like a dog

It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log

But when I get home to you I find the things that you do

Will make me feel alright

You know I work all day to get you money to buy you things

And it's worth it just to hear you say you're going to give me everything

So why on earth should I moan, cos when I get you alone

You know I feel OK

When I'm home everything seems to be right

When I'm home feeling you holding me tight, tight, yeah

It's been a hard day's night, and I'd been working like a dog

It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log

But when I get home to you I find the things that you do

Will make me feel alright owww

So why on earth should I moan, cos when I get you alone

You know I feel OK

When I'm home everything seems to be right

When I'm home feeling you holding me tight, tight, yeah

It's been a hard day's night, and I'd been working like a dog

It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log

But when I get home to you I find the things that you do

Will make me feel alright

You know I feel alright

You know I feel alright
