Ethel Scrabbs
Ethel Scrabbs, witch, mystic, visionary, mistress of Lourges, and guardian of The Emerald Toad of Denwick, was born during the great Ulgham storm of 1887 in a hemel near Bilton. Ethel is believed to be the daughter of Morag the Mort of Hampeth who was burnt at the stake in Felton by a marauding band of southern Christians in 1908.
Ethel, now in her 115th year, lives in a hovel near Rabbit Lonnen.:-3

I wonder what Ethel was on.
Perhaps she was in the twilight zone.

Hi,
Perhaps so? She is also credited with this little pearl of wisdom (amongst many others); “Wisdom is the domain of the wis, which is now extinct”.:-3

And Majenta - I'm going to age myself here... - the first Ethel I thought of was Lucy Ricardo's friend on the old I Love Lucy show! :wah:
Hi,
Well I reckon it's because; “It is irresponsible to boil rhubarb whilst wearing any form of knitted head-wear.:wah:

More words from "Ethel the prophet";
"The pursuit of the Humming Trout is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives"
