I have to confess to taking a life myself. The sad episode took place earlier today as i battled with an annoying fly invading my space. As i slammed the newspaper down on this living insect, guilt became overpowering. Was i wrong to swat this pest, am i a killer? If not then why not? After all ive wiped out a life, if i did that to a pet would that be wrong? Where do the limits start?

Do you own an orange robe? Are you mysteriously drawn towards wearing it & shaving your head? :sneaky:

I would say you would be justified only if you had undenyable proof it trotted over something utterly despicable before landing on food you were about to eat. This would make you a non killer.

Remember Patrick Moor in the good old black and white days? On a live broadcast about a space misson a fly flew in his mouth whilst he was speaking of some great achivement in outer space. Many years later he recounted that "Yes I did swallow the fly and yes I suspect it was a lot worse for the fly than myself"!:-3

lol, i laff but i find it hard to kill any creature, i really shout at my boyfriend if he goes to squish a spider or anything, i just cant stand it! id rather catch them , then set them free

i hate killing anything but wasps and flies are fair game ,the pests
