You stand at a crossroads, young seeker of truth

With soles and soul weathered, but strong in your youth,

Of promising paths with endings obscured

Your heart is troubled, your reason unsure.

Some oroboran trails say others have found

The way off the road while circling round

And rested their feet, their traveling done,

Their suffering over, their struggle won.

Some offer passage without any bends.

You may walk up or down to different ends

On walks on five pillars standing alone

Or fixed on a once-rejected Cornerstone.

Step sure-footed and make a good try

Or forge your own path where no others lie

Up other hills and round other bends

For who knows all paths don't reach the same end?

I'll reply to this with a bit of a story someone wrote to me about me.

"She explained to him about the journey he had had that day. She told him, that he was never to have taken the other road that day. No matter which way he would have chosen, both paths would have taken him to this moment with her on the hill, under the stars, sitting on that piano bench. Perhaps he would have gotten a different view and a few different details for stories that he would one day want to tell, but that wasn't the point. She quoted Ovid, "Be patient and tough; some day this pain will be useful to you."

Once again, great poetry. Glad to see the forum being used for what it was intended for.
