The good news is he will never have to work again.
LOS ANGELES - A woman who lay bleeding on the emergency room floor of a troubled inner-city hospital died after 911 dispatchers refused to contact paramedics or an ambulance to take her to another facility, newly released tapes of the emergency calls reveal.
Edith Isabel Rodriguez, 43, died of a perforated bowel on May 9 at Martin Luther King Jr.-Harbor Hospital. Her death was ruled accidental by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Relatives said Rodriguez was bleeding from the mouth and writhing in pain for 45 minutes while she was at a hospital waiting area. Experts have said she could have survived had she been treated early enough.

They wanted her to vacate because she was annoying them.

I saw and heard about this, so so sad...a by stander called 911 and they told her that this WASN'T an emergency....I'm sure that 911 operator is wishing he had someone to help him now out of the unemployment line....
I saw that the hospital has a bad reputation also....we have one of those here, but nothing like that, well that I know of...

Apparently she had a 5 yr old warrant for her arrest so the police scooped her up off the floor and before they could put her in the car she died.
The friggin janitor was mopping around her while she layed there writhing in pain and her family was begging for help.
Thats not supposed to happen in America.

As they are in LA I imagine they get the worst of the worst like gang slayings and what not. It sounds as if they had become desensitized.

Do you mean nobody gave a rat's butt except the cops who only cared about a freaking warrant?!!
The whole lot ought to be taken out and shot!!

In the lawsuit, I hope he also sues the doctor, all the nurses, the 9-1-1 operators, etc. I'd insist the doctor and the nurses have their licenses revoked. How can they live with themselves? :-5 :-5
