The moving smilies is a phenomenon that has existed since Adam and Eve first entered the Garden. It is a test of how often one is drinking and posting usually determined by how long it takes for them to realise the smilies are moving not the entire world around them. (hehe)

I'm not sure what actually determines the altering placement of the little faces on your screen but I highly recommend learning the shortcut keys to the ones you use regularly. That way when you want the green dude you type : D (without the space) and you get :D

you can view the smilie list and it will tell you what to type in the box beside each graphic. ;) <--- to do that I just typed ";" ")" with no spaces or quotes

But they are the same old ones and some are really boring. Could maybe use the same shortcuts, ie  but have one whose eyes actually do roll. :D

It has been widely known and accepted that increasing access to larger amounts of smilies results in smilie addiction. Victims of this disease have trouble find themselves needing to end every sentence with a graphic. It then progresses to downloading animation programs to make all the smilies move and then to creating smilies of their own to replace common grammatical elements like punctuation. Smilies are being pointed to as a cause of deteriorated communication skills in the modern world and all forums of any significant size have been put on smilie restriction. Any infractions of the restrictions result in heavy fines and community service.

:yh_rotfl I like smilies, but sometimes there aren't ones available to express how I'm really feeling....this one is used ALOT ....:yh_rotfl and its not on the main page of smilies...I lOVE the giving finger one of Pinky's...that is on another forum, and I haven't used it yet...but like it.:-4

I'd like to have a limit of 10 per post please.

And Crazy Gal, I know that it bothers you that people aren't perfect...but we love them the way they are and don't complain about punctuation or grammer or spelling...Isn't it cool to care about people unconditionally and not complaining about the small insignificant stuff??
